The buzz has it that Abhay Deol has secretly gotten engaged with his beauty queen girlfriend. Abhay has been dating model Preeti Desai, former Miss Great Britain, for quite some time. It’s a promotional track that was recently shot on the film’s lead actors Kangana and Madhavan with Mika joining in for a jig.While filming the song, director Anand L Rai came up with the idea of making Mika kiss Kangana at the song’s end, just the way he locked lips with the item girl Rakhi Sawant a few years ago at her birthday. Kangana got cold feet at the idea of kissing the Punjabi singer.The antic was intended to be funny, but Kangana wasn’t comfortable in being kissed by Mika. So she told the director to axe the kiss.
Box Office Reports… Patiala House has a very dull start
Akshay Kumar’s latest film Patiala House has opened to an unexpectedly poor response at the box office. Luck seems to have run out on Akshay Kumar, for after the failure of his Tees Maar Khan, his new release Patiala House too wasn’t able to attract many footfalls in theaters on its opening day, Friday. The film opened to 30 to 40 percent response in multiplexes, and a dismal 10 to 20 percent occupancy at single screen theaters. This is shockingly low for a superstar whose films used to open to packed houses just two years back. The reviews by critics are mixed and so is the audience reaction to the Nikhil Advani-directed film. Meanwhile, last week’s release Yeh Saali Zindagi rounded off its first week with a collection of Rs. 7.5 crore net. On the other hand, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji continued to slide down and did a business of Rs. 6 crore during its second week. The film’s collection so far is in the proximity of Rs. 27 crore. The coming Friday would see the release of Vishal Bhardwaj’s much awaited film 7 Khoon Maaf

Veteran painter MF Husain keeps trying his hand in different forms of painting which is always astonishing and titillating for the eyeballs. Husain saabs muse keeps on flipping from time to time and this time, his new subject for the canvas is the very petite Vidya Balan.
The 95-years-old painter wants to showcase Vidya nude on his canvas as he has requested the actress for the same. In humble reply, Vidya has blinked for proposal.
Apparently, she has assured Hussain that after doing her film based on the life of Silk Smitha, she will do the nude posing.
Hussain from his end is quite turned on with this and it looks like he will live for another ten years after looking at Vidya in her birthday suit and drawing her.

The famous duo of Love Aaj Kal, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone will work together in Illuminati Films. Illuminati Films is Saif’s home production with partner Dinesh Vijan.Imtiaz Ali who had directed Love Aaj Kal has scripted this untitled movie. The movie will go on floors in April 2011 and will be shot in New Delhi, Spain and London. When asked Saif about this he says, “I was waiting for a script as contemporary and relevant as this is to come my way and I agree that this has been worth the wait. The story is funny, romantic and it has a perfect balance of entertainment and drama. I wanted to go for a love story with a modern treatment and sensibility.”
When asked about working with Deepika Padukone, the actor says, “I am looking forward for my pairing with her again.
