Ranbir not interested work with Deepika Padukone
Bollywood’s casanova, Ranbir Kapoor is not very pleased with the idea of working with his ex girlfriend Deepika Padukone.
News has it that, ‘Wake Up Sid’ director Ayan Mukherjee, is in the process of writing another script with Ranbir Kapoor in mind and he wants the Deepika Padukone to play his leading lady. Her character in the film will be that of a modern girl with traditional values. And Deepika seems to fit the bill perfectly.
Apart from all this, Ayan has always wanted to direct Deepika .However, if buzz is to be believed, Ranbir isn’t keen on working with Deepika. He has made it very clear to Ayan. Box Office Reports… Patiala House has a very dull start
Akshay Kumar’s latest film Patiala House has opened to an unexpectedly poor response at the box office. Luck seems to have run out on Akshay Kumar, for after the failure of his Tees Maar Khan, his new release Patiala House too wasn’t able to attract many footfalls in theaters on its opening day, Friday. The film opened to 30 to 40 percent response in multiplexes, and a dismal 10 to 20 percent occupancy at single screen theaters. This is shockingly low for a superstar whose films used to open to packed houses just two years back. The reviews by critics are mixed and so is the audience reaction to the Nikhil Advani-directed film. Meanwhile, last week’s release Yeh Saali Zindagi rounded off its first week with a collection of Rs. 7.5 crore net. On the other hand, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji continued to slide down and did a business of Rs. 6 crore during its second week. The film’s collection so far is in the proximity of Rs. 27 crore. The coming Friday would see the release of Vishal Bhardwaj’s much awaited film 7 Khoon Maaf

Veteran painter MF Husain keeps trying his hand in different forms of painting which is always astonishing and titillating for the eyeballs. Husain saabs muse keeps on flipping from time to time and this time, his new subject for the canvas is the very petite Vidya Balan.

The 95-years-old painter wants to showcase Vidya nude on his canvas as he has requested the actress for the same. In humble reply, Vidya has blinked for proposal.

Apparently, she has assured Hussain that after doing her film based on the life of Silk Smitha, she will do the nude posing.

:Ishqiya sequel finally announced…
Last night, producers of the critically acclaimed film Ishqiya, announced its sequel. Ishqiya was a super success and for a long time, there have been speculations over a sequel. However, last night at a party the producers of the film, Shemaroo and Vishal Bhardwaj, announced the sequel with the same cast and crew. A source said, “Ishqiya was a huge hit and was also critically acclaimed. The producers were very happy and were keen to make a sequel. However the film did not take off for a long time. Everything seems to be on track now and last night the film was announced at a private party at the producer Shemaroo’s office. Arshad and Vidya were present when the film was announced, while Vishal, his wife Rekha, and Abhishek Chaubey were also present. Abhishek has an idea and the script is currently under finalisation. The film will go on the floors in the middle of this year. The last draft is being written and maybe one or two people might be added. Vidya and Arshad are equally thrilled to do the sequel.” The source added, “Abhishek was being offered to direct a film from several production houses. He too was in talks and there was a strong buzz that he was going to make a film with John Abraham. But it seems nothing did materialise. Abhishek took a long break to decide his next film script and what he wanted to direct. Finally after this break, he has decided to direct his debut movie Ishqiya’s sequel.” The producer of the film, confirmed the news and said, “Yes, we have announced the film. However, I will be in a better position to give you details in a few days.

Getting Madhuri Dixit to sign on the dotted line just got costlier. After the stupendous response to her presence on dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’, it now appears that the channel would have to considerably upgrade her already-impressive, if not astronomical, fee if the star is to appear as a judge on the next season as well. Apparently, Madhuri`s fee is larger than any offered to a reality-show judge in the history of Indian television. Says a co-star who has worked closely with Madhuri: "And why not? She brought so much to the table when she came on board. `Jhalak Dikhla Jaa` went to another level with Madhuri." While Sony TV sources are tight-lipped about the re-negotiation, Madhuri is candid enough to admit that another season of `Jhalak...` is being worked out. "We`re under negotiation. Nothing has been finalised as yet. Let`s see...I really enjoyed my first stint on the show. I am not discounting a second season," Madhuri said. Actor Navin Nischol passes away
Bollywood actor Navin Nischol passed away here on Saturday morning. Nischol, 65, was going to Pune and was on his way to pick up Randhir Kapoor when he had a heart attack. He was taken to Sion hospital, where he was declared dead. He had made his debut with "Saawan Bhadon" in 1970. His last release was "Break ke Baad"in 2010. When Nischol made his debut as a hero in "Saawan Bhadon" in 1970, he was labelled the poor man's Rajesh Khanna. Khanna was at the peak of his career then, and had given a superhit — "Kati Patang" the same year. A gold medallist from FTII, Nischol became a popular actor with hits like "Buddha Mila Gaya", "Dhund", " Victoria No. 203", "Hanste Zakhm" and "Woh Main Nahin". More than his acting, Nischol became popular for his chocolate-boy looks and for songs, which included popular hits like "Kaan mein jhumka" ("Sawan Bhadon"), "Raat kali jab khwab mein aayi" ("Buddha Mil Gaya"), "Simti si sharmaisi" ("Parwana") and "Tum jo mil gaye ho" ("Hanste Zakhm"). He was also one of the first film actors along with Shekhar Suman to join television. He worked in quite a few television serials, including Anand Mahendroo's " Dekh Bhai Dekh". The last rites of Nischol were performed at the Santacruz crematorium on Saturday evening. It was my first day and I was anyway quite nervous and he (Akshay) kept saying ‘thook thook, spit on my face’. That really got me stunned.” Akshay really wanted to bring out the best from his actress, even if it was something as gross as spitting. SRK to turn Don against Leonardo DiCaprio! 
SRK to turn Don against Leonardo DiCaprio! Shah Rukh Khan will play an underworld gangster in Xtreme City. If all goes well, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be seen sharing screen space with his Hollywood counterpart Leonardo DiCaprio in a cross-cultural thriller 'Xtreme City', a tale about two men from radically different worlds. SRK's biographer (Still Reading Khan) and screenplay writer Mushtaq Sheikh has penned the script with Hollywood writer-director Paul Schrader, who will direct this movie. American filmmaker Martin Scorsese has come on board as a producer with David Weisman for the movie, where SRK will essay the role of an underworld gangster while DiCaprio will be playing a New York cop. Sheikh said 'Xtreme City' is not in anyway a traditional gangster movie. "Its a different kind of film...one where both Indian and American protagonists are balanced human beings who the story treats in their full complexity, and at no point in either culture ever dimished or taken for granted. Its a cross-cultural thriller designed for both Bollywood and Hollywood. And if we get it right..this will be an attempt at true global entertainment," Sheikh said.

After pulling off an affable Sardarji in Rocket Salesman Of The Year and attempting a rock guitarist in Rockstar, Ranbir Kapoor now moves on to playing a 17th century a warrior in the Hindi remake of the 2009 Telugu blockbuster Magadheera. The director of the original S S Rajamouli has been retained for the R 90 crore reboot. With reincarnation as the central theme, it is set in contemporary times and in medieval times as well. It features RK in his first-ever double role. The actor is expected to train in sword-fighting and at least three strains of martial arts for the part.Ghajini producer Madhu Manthena will produce the Hindi remake.Says an insider, "The Hindi remake required a sinewy yet lean look and a sombre persona and a fantastic actor who could look convincing in both avatars. Ranbir was the only choice for the role. Only he fitted the bill."The source continues, "Ranbir was floored by the concept of the warrior in the Mughal dynasty. He has never done a costume drama before. As a child, his favourite film used to be a fantasy film called Rani Aur Lalparee.Ranbir watched the film umpteen times as a child. Censor board might have allowed Mallika Sherawat and Himanshu Malik to engage into some hot-on-action smooches in their film ‘Khwahish’. They engaged into 17 such servicesand hold the record but if director Sudhir Mishra has his way he might just be able to make a new record with his upcoming film ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’. The number would be something around 20 to 22 for the audience. The couple in question who would be engaging in the lip-action and all set to snatch Mallika Sherawat’s record is Aditi Rao and Arunodoy Singh. According to Mishra, the actors Aditi and Arunodoy portray a couple who quarrels a lot and kiss and make up. So it is evident that they would get into the action over a dozen of times. Well those who are not familiar with Aditi, she is the one who played Sonam Kapoor’s demure and quiet aunt in ‘Delhi 6’ and Arunodoy became famous with his hot bed action with Raima Sen in ‘Mirch’. Mishra also goes on to say that so far he had to do away with kisses in the film because his actors were not comfortable, but this time around Aditi and Arunodoy didn’t have any such inhibitions. But still now censor board has not passed the flick, and they have already some issues with the title of the film and one just have the nagging concern that whether they would allow so many lip-services in the film. However, Mishra is ready to give a fight if the board is up with an objection, he has already stated that the censor people should have a reality check and he just simply cannot show quivering of flowers instead on kisses on the screen

RK’s parents upset over Deepika, Sonam and most importantly…. Karan Johar 
Last Sunday’s episode of Koffee With Karan featuring Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor is threatening to spoil the relations between the Kapoors and the host Karan Johar.
The two actresses, who have both been linked to Ranbir Kapoor, had gone overboard with their opinion on Ranbir which has in turn angered his parents and extended family like his aunt Rima Jain
Sonam’s comments:
She thought Ranbir to be unsexy, and that she had seen it all during the shooting of Saawariya when he dropped the towel for the infamous scene, and wasn’t interested anymore. She also complained about his fashion sense and that he badly needs a stylist. Not just that… She also admired Deepika for holding on to Kapoor for so long. She ended by saying that Ranbir is a terrible boyfriend and he can never stay faithful.
Deepika’s comments:
When asked what she’d like to give Ranbir Kapoor, she said: a box of condoms. Wonder what she was hinting at. When KJO asked her to rate him in sex appeal, she rated him last on her list. She also said that that if she woke up as RK someday, she’d go back to sleep. The former girlfriend also revealed that once, when RK was at KJO’s house, her ex was offered a glass of juice and a silk robe by his maid.
An industry source reveals, “Neetu was so mad when she heard what the two actresses had said she called up Karan and fired him for allowing that kind of talk on the show.”
Rishi Kapoor on the other hand couldn’t hide his hurt and anger.
Although he claims he hasn’t seen the show, he admits, “We definitely feel cheated and hurt. My wife and sister are in New York and they were very upset when they heard about the show. Neetu was very hurt and upset and she spoke to Karan about it. We didn’t expect this from him because Karan happens to be a close friend but he instigated both the girls to say all those things!”
A disturbed Rishi continues, “We’ve done so much for Karan… We have gone twice on his show. We even gave bytes for the show featuring Imran and Ranbir out of pure love for Karan.
In return, what does he do? Provoke guests on his show to get better TRPs? There’s no respect for relationships. Neetu and I go on his shows out of love for him. He gets paid for the show while we do it for love and affection. Karan shouldn’t do this to us or all the Kapoors will severe ties with him and not work with him.”

When pointed out that it wasn’t the host but Deepika and Sonam who poked fun at his laadla, Papa Kapoor says, “Well to put things in the right perspective, all I can say is that with both the girls it is a case of sour grapes. I have known Sonam’s father Anil for years.
All I will say to the girls is: in stead of doing all this concentrate on your careers. Why do you run shows that have so much gossip? I have done Koffee With Karan earlier with Neetu, my brothers and sister; there was great camaraderie and laughter on our show. We didn’t run anyone down. I don’t think you should encourage people to wash dirty linen in public. You will never see Ranbir running anyone down.”
When asked if he’d tried to talk to Anil about Sonam’s comments, Rishi says, “What can I say to Anil? Everyone is family here and these girls are like my children. I don’t want to get into fights involving my son’s friends.
“It just shows their (Deepika and Sonam) class. I would like to tell them to stop giggling all the time and behave maturely. They are there on the show because they are their father’s daughters and not because of their work! I would advise them to stop talking about their colleagues and running them down.”

“Neetuji has not called me and I am unaware of any of this… spoke to Ranbir and he was totally cool and understands the nature and vibe of the show!! He is possibly the coolest guy I know… so he was totally fine!!

The latest talk of tinsel town is that Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor will be joining Karan Johar on his chat show ‘Koffee eith Karan’, very soon.
While this has become a hot topic in B’town since is a BIG Bollywood ‘patch-up’, Both sonam and Deepika seem to see things differently. Ms Deepika candidly told in an interview that, “People are saying that this is going to be a patch up. But I say there was never a problem between us.

Katrina transforms from a Barbie doll to Lord Krishna’s Radha
Bollywood barbie doll Katrina Kaif will soon be seen in a beaitiful avatar of Radha in a film on Lord Krishna. Titled Main Krishna Hoon, the film will have Katrina in a cameo.
Revolving around the life of Lord Krishna, starting from his childhood ‘leelas’ up to adulthood, the film will be directed by Rajiv S Ruia. Ruia is known for directing ‘My Friend Ganesha’. Katrina’s hairstylist Promila Hunter is set to produce a film titled ‘Main Krishna Hoon’.
Confirming the news, Katrina says, “Let it be a secret. But yes, I am doing this film on the life of Lord Krishna because my hairstylist Promila Hunter is producing the film. When she asked me if I would make an appearance I didn’t even ask her what my role was. Only later did I get to know that it is a film on the life of Lord Krishna.”
The actress will have a small role to play but Kat is taking it seriously as she wants to get into the skin of the character. For this, she has started reading relevant books to understand Lord Krishna’s story and his relation with Radha.

Salman Khan soon to host Dus Ka Dum…
Salman Khan has been wooded by Sony Entertainment Television, to host the third edition of the Dus Ka Dum . Guess the show-makers realized that only Salman could attract viewers to the show because of his connect with the masses.
This time, the channel has agreed to the terms and conditions laid out by Salman. But we wonder if that means the end of Bigg
Boss journey for Sallu.
Salman’s equation with the channel dwindled when the Sony refused to give a pay hike to the actor, even when the recession was over. The actor had generously taken a fee cut, during the time of recession.
But now it seems all is well since Salman has agreed to host the show. Talking about how the two patched up, a source told a daily, “The broadcasters told Salman, ‘Sir, we’ll do it as per your terms and conditions.’ Apparently, a lot of efforts were made to get a replacement for Salman but all in vain.”
“Considering Salman agreed to a fee cut in the second season, shouldn’t the channel telecasting Dus Ka Dum have given him a fee hike in the third season? Anyway, ‘10 Ka Dum’ is very dear to Salman; that was his first show on Indian television,” adds the source.


Farah Khan is following Manmohan Desai formula for Tees Maar Khan 
Decades ago, Manmohan Desai is said to have quoted that for a commercial masala flick to work, there should be at least one highlight on screen every 10 minutes. Given the fact that movies in that era were 3 hours long, it comes to around 20 highlight sequences in the entire run of the film. Circa 2010 and Farah Khan is pretty much following the same adage with Tees Maar Khan which releases this Christmas.

No wonder, Farah doesn't mind getting more 'highlight sequences' in the film that fetch headlines before the theatrical release itself.

"What could be the other way to describe the coming in of Anil Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna in Tees Maar Khan", questions an observer, "The very fact that Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are sharing the stage again after years was enough for media and audience to go into frenzy. The sequence may last just for a minute but the fact that we are talking about it makes it highlight worthy."

"Also, the pulling in of Anil Kapoor for an award ceremony sequence was a master stroke", he continues, "Audience still relate to him as the Slumdog Millionaire star and since he doesn't mind taking a dig at himself, his appearance in the sequence doesn't appear misplaced at all."

Other than Anil Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna, now Farah has also roped in Sanjay Dutt to do a special voiceover for Tees Maar Khan. And the master stroke comes in the form of Salman Khan's entry into the film's narrative with the special song 'Wallah Wallah'.

Continues the observer, "This is pretty much a fact that the on-off real life 'jodi' of Salman-Katrina is anyways expected to make headlines, more so when they appear on the big screen. Given her penchant for making item sequences larger than life, as was evidenced in her '31 stars on a single set' song 'Deewangee' [Om Shanti Om], Farah is said to have outclassed her own earlier effort and woven magic once again with this qawalli. To add to all the fun, Farah is now also ready with the promotional music video of Tees Maar Khan which features the trio of Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Akshaye Khanna.

Promises Farah, "The song's shoot is through and you can't imagine the kind of madness which was prevalent over there. While with Salman, Akshay and Katrina, the qawalli had gone into a different league altogether, the promotional music video with Akshay, Katrina and Akshaye has turned out to be really funny as well."

This doesn't quite sound like a tall claim because Farah said this earlier for 'Tumse Milke Dil Ka Hai Jo Haal' [Main Hoon Naa] as well and the results were there for all to see. Now that she is getting into a 'dhamaal' zone with yet another item sequence as Katrina Kaif gets into the garb of Paakeezah, she can be trusted to deliver the goods.

Meanwhile, Farah is not just resting yet. "I can't believe that just a couple of more months remain for the film to hit the screens. I am now neck deep in getting the theatrical promo right", she says.

The Silver Gateway Award Jury Grand Prize film in the international competition category was presented to the Danish film "R" directed by Michael Noer & Tobias Lindholm

The Silver Gateway Award for Best Director was presented to Anocha Suwichakornpong for her film from Thailand Mundane History. Anocha was the only female director competing in the International Competition Category.

The Silver Gateway Award For Best Actor was presented to Bartu Kucukcaglayan for his performance in the film Majority. The Silver Gateway Award For Best Actress was presented to Marie Helene Bellavance for her performance in Canadian film Vital Signs.

The Jury award For Technical Excellence was presented to a Greek film Black Field directed by Vardis Marinakis.

The Audience Choice Silver Gateway Award was presented to Spanish film Biutiful directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu

Akshay wrote: “I flew back to London to join my wife and son for our summer holidays and I met Shah Rukh Khan on my flight! It was nice to know Shah Rukh feels as grateful as I am for being a part of our industry and how lucky we are.”

Dostana sequel to hit the floors this summer
Famous filmmaker Karan Johar will start shooting for the sequel of Dostana, which is a lighthearted tale of three friends, this summer. The lead actors of this movie are Banished Bachchan and John Abraham. Karan recently posted on his micro blogging site Twitter, “Dostana 2  starts filming this summer. The final cast will be announced at the end of the month…of course AB and John lead the way.”
The filmmaker whose last release was Shahrukh Khan starrer My Name is Khan. Karan is still completing the last shooting schedule of his untitled film with Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. This upcoming movie is an adaptation of the Chris Columbus comedy drama Stepmom. Kangana Ranaut gets Rs.5 crore for a film
Ever since she won a National Award for Fashion, Kangna Ranaut seems to have decided she won’t be selling herself short any longe

She recently demanded – and got – Rs 5 crore for a film which is to be directed by Tanvir Khan, who last directed Deadline.

 

Sources said,“Kangna has come a long way from the days of her debut film Gangster. Directors realise her potential and have no qualms in giving her the fee she deserves.”

SRK is making documentary on Mughal-e-Azam

King Khan has made a 40 minutes documentary on Dilip Kumar and Madhubala starrer classic Mughal-E-Azam. The film is titled ‘Mughal-E-Azam – A Tribute By A Son To His Father’, which will be launched soon in a grand way. Shah Rukh Khan is self-proclaimed fan of K. Asif’s classic and very few know that he even owns the original camera on which Mughal-e-Azam was shot. He has not only produced the documentary under Red Chilies banner but also has played asutradhar . The documentary has been put together Devan Munjal, which will see the bigwigs from Bollywood talking about the film. Making a documentary on the film is not Shah Rukh’s idea. Shah Rukh is close to K. Asif’s son Akbar Asif ‘s, who resides in London. So when they recently met, Akbar confided in SRK that he wants to pay tribute to his father by making a documentary on the film. Kangana got cold feet at the idea of kissing the Punjabi singer.The antic was intended to be funny, but Kangana wasn’t comfortable in being kissed by Mika. So she told the director to axe the kiss.

Box Office Reports… Patiala House has a very dull start
Akshay Kumar’s latest film Patiala House has opened to an unexpectedly poor response at the box office. Luck seems to have run out on Akshay Kumar, for after the failure of his Tees Maar Khan, his new release Patiala House too wasn’t able to attract many footfalls in theaters on its opening day, Friday. The film opened to 30 to 40 percent response in multiplexes, and a dismal 10 to 20 percent occupancy at single screen theaters. This is shockingly low for a superstar whose films used to open to packed houses just two years back. The reviews by critics are mixed and so is the audience reaction to the Nikhil Advani-directed film. Meanwhile, last week’s release Yeh Saali Zindagi rounded off its first week with a collection of Rs. 7.5 crore net. On the other hand, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji continued to slide down and did a business of Rs. 6 crore during its second week. The film’s collection so far is in the proximity of Rs. 27 crore. The coming Friday would see the release of Vishal Bhardwaj’s much awaited film 7 Khoon Maaf

Veteran painter MF Husain keeps trying his hand in different forms of painting which is always astonishing and titillating for the eyeballs. Husain saabs muse keeps on flipping from time to time and this time, his new subject for the canvas is the very petite Vidya Balan.

The 95-years-old painter wants to showcase Vidya nude on his canvas as he has requested the actress for the same. In humble reply, Vidya has blinked for proposal.

Apparently, she has assured Hussain that after doing her film based on the life of Silk Smitha, she will do the nude posing.

The famous duo of Love Aaj Kal, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone will work together in Illuminati Films. Illuminati Films is Saif’s home production with partner Dinesh Vijan.Imtiaz Ali who had directed Love Aaj Kal has scripted this untitled movie. The movie will go on floors in April 2011 and will be shot in New Delhi, Spain and London. When asked Saif about this he says, “I was waiting for a script as contemporary and relevant as this is to come my way and I agree that this has been worth the wait. The story is funny, romantic and it has a perfect balance of entertainment and drama. I wanted to go for a love story with a modern treatment and sensibility.”

When asked about working with Deepika Padukone, the actor says, “I am looking forward for my pairing with her again. Beating other powerful contenders like Lara Dutta, Mallika Sherawat, Kareena Kapoor and even the recent Golden Globe winner Natalie Portman, Vidya was voted the hottest vegan. The other was Shashi Tharoor, the former union minister of state for external affairs. Rajkumar Santoshi to cast Abhishek and Katrina in a romantic comedy

Abhishek and Katrina Kaif were last seen together almost five years ago in ‘Sarkar’ where the two did not get many scenes together. There after they did not come together in any film and rumors were rift that Salman had asked Katrina not to work with Abhi and Katrina too bore some personal grudges against Junior Bachchan.

However, the two are set to make up for the long gap by appearing in three flicks in a row. First would be Karan Johar produced ‘Dostana 2’ directed by Tarun Mansukhani, next would be untitled romantic comedy directed by Rajnkumar Santoshi and the last one would be the film by Vipul Shah.

Kaif says, “I had done one of my earliest films (Sarkar) with Abhishek. And it was great fun. Somehow subsequent projects didn’t work out. I had decided whenever I work with him again, it would be in an out-and-out romantic subject.”

Rajnkumar Santoshi proved his excellence in comedy with ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani’ starring with Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. Santoshi’s first comedy film in 1994 ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ became a cult movie.

Says Santoshi, “I’ve worked with Amitji before in Family and Khakee. But I’ve still not worked with Abhishek. I am really looking forward to directing him for the first time.

News has it that, ‘Wake Up Sid’ director Ayan Mukherjee, is in the process of writing another script with Ranbir Kapoor in mind and he wants the Deepika Padukone to play his leading lady. Her character in the film will be that of a modern girl with traditional values. And Deepika seems to fit the bill perfectly.
Apart from all this, Ayan has always wanted to direct Deepika .However, if buzz is to be believed, Ranbir isn’t keen on working with Deepika. He has made it very clear to Ayan. But, if we heard it right, after their break-up both Ranbir and Deepika had said that they were open to doing films together.
Ayan Mukherjee is still working on the script and hasn’t begun the casting process yet. 

Bhandarkar wanted to cast Madhuri Dixit in ‘Fashion’

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar has revealed he wanted to cast dancing diva Madhuri Dixit in “Fashion” that brought on screen behind-the-scene life of ramp world.

“If Madhuriji had not gone to the US, then I would have cast her in ‘Fashion’. I know that she would have done justice to it,” Bhandarkar said on the sets of “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa”, a dance reality show where Madhuri is one of the judges.

“The beauty about her is that she just slips into her character so well that you forget that she is Madhuri Dixit. I hope to work with her someday,” added the national-award winning director.

Bhandarkar was on the show to promote his upcoming movie “Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji” along with its cast Emraan Hashmi and Ajay Devgn

Akshay says Farah does not make films to win the National award
Bollywood khiladi Akshay Kumar is looking forward to working with the choreographer turned filmmaker Farah Khan once again. The actor moreover is of the opinion that he does not expect his films to win National awards.Expressing his desire to team up with Farah Khan once again, Akshay said to reporters, “I`m looking forward to working with her again. She`s a tough taskmaster. Men are scared of her. So am I. She speaks her mind no matter what the consequences. She wasn`t making a film to win the National award. She made a commercial film.”Akshay is now quite defensive when it comes to talking about the poor show of his over hyped film TMK. Defending his last outing, the actor said that he does commercial masala flicks to entertain audiences. Talking about TMK, the actor said, "No matter what people say, the fact is that our film had the biggest opening of the year, along with ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Golmaal 3’. Audiences go to a Farah Khan film to see Manmohan Desai-type masala entertainment. I was doing what Austin Powers does in the Hollywood slapstick comedies."Though Akki wishes to work with Farah Khan despite TMK proving to be a dud at the BO, whether or not the director joins hands with the star is still a matter of speculation.Here’s hoping Farah does not do the same to Akshay what she did to her ‘once best friend’ Shah Rukh Khan.
